Notifications
Supplier notes that have no comparison field
Some information from a supplier matters but does not fit into a comparison field. The notification card captures exactly that.
What lands here
- Factory holidays. The supplier is closed for a stated period.
- Out of office. An automatic reply telling you the mailbox is unmonitored.
- Process or quality note. For example a surface coating step that differs from what was ordered.
- General remarks that carry no data change.
Where it appears
The notification card sits between the Agent Summary and the header comparison in the Thread Detail view. It only appears when a thread actually has notices, it is expanded when there is content, and it shows how many notices are still open.
Acknowledging
Each notice must be acknowledged, and every acknowledgement can be undone.
Status effect
Each notice shows its status effect, either Sets thread to Needs review or No status impact. The effect is configured per notice type in the Notifications tab of the agent configuration. Use this when a remark such as a changed coating step must always force a human look.
