Thread Overview: your work list
Your daily work list, explained
Every pairing of a purchase order and its confirmation is a thread. The Thread Overview is the agent home screen and your daily work list.
Layout
- Tabs: Threads, Dashboard, Paths.
- Stage toggle: All, OC, GR, INV. Filters the list by which of the three stages after the purchase order a thread currently sits in.
- KPI and filter cards: adaptive counters such as needs review, overdue, and awaiting. Each card also works as a quick filter.
- Smart filter bar and per column filters: filter by status, supplier, buyer, value, and more. Every column has its own filter and sort.
- Thread table: one row per thread showing the purchase order number, supplier, status, a three stage progress indicator, the value, and a blue unseen update dot when a thread received changes you have not opened yet.
- Language switch: the whole overview and the detail view are available in English and German.
Thread statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| OPEN | Purchase order sent. The confirmation is being processed or is still awaited. Nothing is blocking. |
| OVERDUE | No confirmation received past the SLA. Reminders and escalation apply. |
| NEEDS_REVIEW | Deviations beyond tolerance require a human decision. |
| WAITING | Waiting for the supplier, for example after a rejection when a corrected confirmation is expected. |
| PARTIALLY_CONFIRMED | Only some positions or quantities were confirmed. The rest is still open. |
| CONFIRMED | Everything is confirmed and written back to the purchase order. |
| PARTIALLY_DELIVERED and DELIVERED | Goods receipt states. These belong to the downstream stage. |
| CLOSED | The thread is closed, either automatically after straight through processing or manually with a reason. |
| UNMATCHED | An inbound confirmation could not be matched to a purchase order and sits in the Unmatched inbox. |
Working the list
Start from the KPI cards. Threads in NEEDS_REVIEW need a decision from you, OVERDUE threads need a nudge to the supplier, and threads with an unseen update dot received something new since you last looked. Threads in OPEN, WAITING, or CONFIRMED normally need no action.
